On the Lord's Day of October 14, 1945, Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, held its first worship service. The worship service took place in the basement of the manse that the Committee on Home Missions and Church Extension had purchased for organizing pastor Bruce Coie. Three years later the congregation was able to purchase land, and on January 6, 1950, a new building was dedicated with thanksgiving. On May 27, 1951, the Presbytery of New Jersey received Grace Church as a particular congregation.

Following Mr. Coie as pastors of Grace Church were LeRoy Oliver (1952-1956), Raymond Commeret (1956-1972), Dennis Johnson (1973-1976), David Kiester (1977-1979), Ken Campbell (1980-2006) and Mark Larson (2007-2012). In 1976 the Forty-third General Assembly elected then Grace Church ruling elder Garret Hoogerhyde as moderator.

Since 2013 John Keegan has served as pastor of Grace Church.
