On this day in 1952, Albert G. Edwards III was ordained and installed as pastor of Immanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Crescent Park, New Jersey. Ralph Clough, moderator of the Presbytery of New Jersey, asked the constitutional questions both to Mr. Edwards as the pastor-elect and to the congregation. Cornelius Van Til preached the sermon and Leslie Dunn led in prayer. Edward Kellogg charged Mr. Edwards and the congregation. Mr. Edwards would go on to pastor Immanuel Church until 1960.
