July 3 Today in OPC History

On this date in 1967, Pastor Wilson Albright and the congregation of Hacienda Heights Orthodox Presbyterian Church were enjoying the services of intern Daniel Overdein and a SAVE (Students as Volunteer Evangelists) team. The SAVE team members helping with VBS and outreach into the community were Judi Fluck, Barbara Ingelse, David Bird, Pat Arriens, Dianne Walber, Roger Schmurr and Lonnie York. Guest speakers at the VBS included Calvin Malcor, Eugene Saltzen and Wallace Bell. Over 1,000 homes in the Hacienda Heights area were visited to invite children to attend.
