July 14 Today in OPC History

On this date in 1997, over twenty summer and yearlong ministerial internships had started or were taking place in Orthodox Presbyterian congregations. The interns included future OPC ministers Hank Belfield (Lake Sherwood, FL), Cornelius Johnson (Abilene, TX), Chad Van Dixhoorn (Bridgeton, NJ), Yong Kim (Sewickley, PA), Ben Westerveld (Hatboro, PA), Steven Migotsky (Ipswich, MA), Steven Igo (Columbus, OH), Claude Taylor (Hamden, CT), Russell Hamilton (Lake Worth, FL), John McGowan (Westfield, NJ), David Chilton (Ipswich, MA), Robert Broline (Morgantown, WV), Mark Richline (Hackettstown, NJ), Heero Hacquebord (Wheaton, IL), C. Lee Irons (Le Mirada, CA), David Bottoms (Glassboro, NJ), Richard Anderson (Stratford, NJ), Robert McCurley (Atlanta, GA), and Lane Tipton (Vista, CA).
