On March 20, 1994, Living Hope Community OPC in Ionia, Michigan, with Pastor Terry Thole held its first worship service at its new building. Pastor Thole and many individuals in the congregation had previously belonged to the Christian Reformed Church and had sought out membership in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. The Presbytery of the Midwest had received the congregation on September 17, 1993. The Committee on Home Missions and Church Extension then helped the new congregation purchase the building. Four years later on March 31, 1998, Living Hope Church would be dissolved.
