OPC 2020 General Assembly
Wednesday, June 3, 2020, 7:00 PM
Tuesday, June 9, 2020, 12:00 PM

Eastern University
(610) 341-5800
1300 Eagle Rd.
St. Davids, Pennsylvania 19087

The Committee on Arrangements received word from Eastern University representatives that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the campus will be closed through the end of June. This means that our General Assembly cannot meet at this location as originally planned. Consequently, the Committee on Arrangements has determined to suspend registration for the 87th General Assembly until a decision can be made about the status of the meeting for this year. If you have not already done so, please do not make flight reservations.

The Committee will be holding a meeting soon to consult with various leaders and personnel to come up with a plan. We humbly ask for your patience in this time as we wrestle with various options and try to determine what would be the best course of action moving forward. Rest assured that we are working on it and will send out a notification once a decision has been made. We welcome your prayers during this period of consultation and deliberation. Pray that the Lord would give us the wisdom to make the best decision, all things considered.

If you have any questions, please contact davidmahaffy@gmail.com.

  2. The Committee on Arrangements shall determine the boundaries of the meeting hall of the Assembly within which only committees of the Assembly may set up displays or exhibits.
  3. To the extent that the Assembly has control at the meeting facility over displays or exhibits beyond the bounds of the meeting hall, the Committee on Arrangements shall allocate space for displays and exhibits in the following priority based upon whose work is being presented:
    1. Committees erected by the Assembly;
    2. Other judicatories of the OPC;
    3. Seminaries from which the Committee on Christian Education is currently actively recruiting interns;
    4. Individual members of the OPC;
    5. Other institutions, ministries, or vendors whose work is not hostile to the Reformed faith as expressed in the Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

If you and the organization you represent fall within these Standing Rules and desire to register as an exhibitor, you must contact the exhibit coordinator Robert Tarullo to obtain a required exhibitor code BEFORE registering. Register as the appropriate type (commissioner, visitor, etc.), and purchase an Exhibitor Table on the Additional Items page when registering.

Due to the time it takes to get through the college mail system, materials arriving after June 1 may not be delivered to us in time for the opening of the exhibits. Efram will receive all the shipments, and his team will deliver them to the exhibit area by Wednesday morning.
