They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures (Psalm 36:8).

Psalm 36:Devotional
Do you hunger and thirst after righteousness? Do you know something of that thirst for God, for the living God? Then know that God has made ample provision for our soul's needs. His loving kindness is so great, that "they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing." And his lovingkindness is in his temple. There He dispenses his gracious gifts. His lovingkindness is better than life. All who hunger and thirst may come to the house of God, where his Word is proclaimed, and have their souls completely restored. They shall be "satisfied with the fatĀness of his house, and they shall drink of the river of his pleasĀures." God always blesses in abundance. He does not give only a taste, but satisfies our mouth with good things. Our soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness. And God makes us drink, not of a cup, but of the river of his pleasures. Let us then go to God's house, even his holy temple, and be satisfied. And may our mouth praise him with joyful lips.
"Thus will I bless Thee while I live
And with uplifted hands will give
Praise to thy holy Name;
When by Thy bounty well supplied,
Then shall my soul be satisfied,
My mouth shall praise proclaim."
Prayer
Our Father in heaven, we are poor and needy. Thou art rich unto all that call upon Thee. Thou art willing and able to supply all our needs. May we receive out of Thy fulness, and grace for grace, in order that our souls may be satisfied here and yonder, when we awake in Thy likeness. For Christ's sake. Amen.
