Homiletics, Form of Government, and Ecclesiology classes begin February 5, 2018 for the Ministerial Training Institute of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Have you sent in your application yet?
Hurry! Registration deadline for a class is January 31, 2018.
OPC pastors, licentiates, and men under care will grow in their preaching gifts and target their weaknesses through the Homiletics course. Elders may join in on the Form of Government class that will increase your understanding of the OPC's history and polity, process of becoming a minister, and the highlights of Robert's Rules of Order. Ecclesiology will help you learn about Presbyterian church government and how it applies to shepherding God’s flock.
Classes typically begin with online reading and writing assignments on February 5. Enjoy the fellowship when all of the students attend the mandatory Intensive Training, which will be held on May 15-17 at Harvest OPC in Wyoming (Grand Rapids), Michigan.
Cost for all students to register is $50, which is fully refundable when the student passes the course. Up to $350 in travel scholarships are available for OPC pastors, licentiates, and men under care. Additional funds are given as needed. OPC elders pay a $50 tuition cost and are not eligible for travel scholarships.
The Committee on Christian Education and Harvest Church will provide local transportation, food, and lodging during Intensive Training.
