While the northeast coast of the US pauses as it awaits the brunt of Hurricane Sandy, many in the church stand ready to help. If you are in need of assistance, please first try to contact the deacons in your local congregation. Understandably, many of these men might be preoccupied with other pressing needs, given the breadth and depth of this storm system. In the event that you are not able to find that help locally, you can feel free to contact one of the following:
Since these two men live within the affected region, they might be unreachable. We have established a contact outside the region who will field calls.
Those offering their help can also notify us of your willingness to help. May we find peace in knowing the Master of the winds and the waves!
"And they went and woke him, saying, 'Master, Master, we are perishing!' And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm" (Luke 8:24).
