Another Boardwalk Chapel Season Concludes

The Boardwalk Chapel

Labor Day marked the end of another season of ministry at the Chapel. The summer has flown by and we have so much to be thankful for as it comes to a close.

We resumed our summer VBS program after a few years off, a highlight for some of the staff! We got to get together with kids every week, playing simple games and sharing God’s Word with them.

Despite a shrinking music team towards the end of the summer, we were still able to maintain programs at night through energized church groups and bands that traveled to fill in.

Countless tracts have been handed out, countless Gospel conversations were had.

This summer we had church groups return who had been coming for years, such as Shiloh church from North Carolina, and congregations come for the first time, like North Shore Community Church from Long Island.

It’s our prayer that the staff and church groups walked away more confident in their witness, and that many seeds that were planted will bear fruit. Throughout the summer, we totaled 59 young people who joined our staff for some length of time - a record number of staff, praise the Lord!

We close this summer with thankfulness and joy. The work has been long and hard, but worth it. We pray for the Lord to work with the seeds sown, that many would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Thank you, friends, for your encouragement, prayers, and support. As a reminder, staff registration for Summer 2024 will open on November 1st, and we will be opening up Summer 2025 registration for church groups soon! Follow us for more updates, openings, encouragement and more!
