DISASTER RESPONSE

After several months of working alongside other ministries following Hurricane Helene, Landis OPC in Marion, North Carolina is eager to lead an effort in McDowell County, North Carolina. Along with the Presbytery of the Southeast and OPC Disaster Response, Landis OPC is now organizing teams to help those in desperate need in western North Carolina after the hurricane unexpectedly and tragically decimated homes in their community in late September. The goal of the effort is to combine Word and deed to provide approximately ten 12’x40’ “Chalmers Homes” for the most vulnerable in McDowell County, North Carolina. This effort is scheduled to begin in early January, 2025. Please pray about how you can help!
