The weather has been challenging for the Landis OPC disaster effort in North Carolina, but the Lord's timing is perfect. Freezing temperatures led to the ground being too hard to break through and concern that concrete wouldn't set properly. This pushed the effort back a few weeks, but the footers are now completed on the first home! Praise the Lord! Now on to installing the block foundation. Please pray for the warmer weather to stick around and for safety for all! Volunteers will be needed at the end of the month to help with framing.
