The First Chalmers Home is Ready!

You’ve been walking this journey with us for nearly nine months. Thanks to the tireless work of Landis OPC, dedicated volunteers, faithful prayer warriors, and generous donors, we’re thrilled to share that the first Chalmers Home has been approved for occupancy!

Mike “Clyde” Huffman—who lost so much, including his home, in Hurricane Helene—will be the first recipient of this labor of love. On June 19, Landis OPC (Marion, NC) will present Clyde with the key to his new home—a powerful reminder of God’s provision and faithfulness—and you are invited!

This brief but meaningful ceremony will be a special moment for all who have had a hand in making this possible. We’d love to see a strong showing of support for Clyde and all who helped bring this vision to life.

Please continue to pray as this ministry moves forward, working toward building homes for Jae, Clifton and Nan, Melissa and Winston. And please pray for God to continue to work in Clyde's heart to bring him closer to the Lord.

Thank you for your support of this ministry to some of the most vulnerable in Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.
