William Krispin

2023

On this date in 1986, the Committee on Home Missions and Church Extension was announcing the hiring of the Rev. William C. Krispin, director of the Center for Urban Theological Studies (CUTS), as their part-time director of ethnic and urban ministries. The Committee cited Mr. Krispin's 17 years as a OPC home missionary in inner city Philadelphia and helping to establish Emmanuel Chapel. In 1978, Mr. Krispin founded CUTS to provide a variety of levels of training in urban missions and ministry. The Committee stated that Mr. Krispin's new role would involve assisting the Committee in overseeing and evaluating its urban and minority fields, and directing training experiences for home missionaries and develop church-planting strategy. Mr. Krispin would serve as part-time director through 1993.
