April 13

Douglas Harley and Jeffrey Wilson

On this date in 1996, Douglas P. Harley was installed as pastor of El Camino OPC in Goleta, California. After his graduation from Princeton Seminary in 1991 with a Masters of Divinity, Mr. Harley accepted a call to serve as an associate pastor at First PCUSA in Royal Oak, Michigan. There he would serve with Associate Pastor Jeffery B. Wilson on the staff at First PCUSA. Five years later Mr. Wilson and Mr. Harley accepted calls to pastoral ministry in the OPC. Mr. Wilson was received into the Presbytery of the Midwest to serve as Pastor of Providence OPC in Southfield, Michigan just four months after Mr. Harley's installation at Goleta. Mr. Harley would serve as pastor of El Camino OPC until 2018. Mr. Wilson continues to serve as pastor of Providence OPC.
