On this date in 1992, Statistician Luke Brown was releasing his report regarding membership of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Mr. Brown reported that the total membership in 1991 reached 18,325 individuals. Three new and separate churches were organized from home mission works, Park Woods Presbyterian in Overland Park, Kansas, Christ Presbyterian in Mills River, North Carolina, and Covenant Presbyterian in La Grange, Georgia. Mr. Brown also stated that nine OPC congregations had an average weekly worship attendance exceeding 200. The churches were Bethel OPC, Oostburg, WI (517); Columbia OPC, Columbia, MD (369); Calvary OPC, Cedar Grove, WI (317); Spencer Mills OPC, Gowen, MI (260); Lake Sherwood OPC, Orlando, FL (237), Trinity OPC, Hatboro, PA (233); Westminster OPC, Hollidaysburg, PA (233); Calvary Community, Phillipsburg, NJ (232); and, Bethany OPC, Oxford, PA (203).
