Orthodox Presbyterian Loan Fund

2022

At its meeting on December 9, 1993, the Board of Directors of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church Loan Fund approved the purchase of the remaining Mortgage Notes Receivable from the Committee on Home Missions and Church Extension (CHMCE) held in the Church Extension Fund. This action allowed CHMCE to establish a new corporation called the Orthodox Presbyterian Loan Fund. Elected to serve on the inaugural Board of the OPC Loan Fund were Messrs. Richard A. Barker, David J. O’Leary, George W. Knight III, Peyton H. Gardner, Garret A. Hoogerhyde (president) and Sidney Smith. CHMCE general secretary Ross Graham and loan fund manager David Haney were appointed as ex-offico members of the Board. Mrs. Kathleen W. Bube was appointed as loan fund administrator.
