December 7 Today in OPC History

On December 7, 1996, the Rev. Dale Collison was leading the inaugural worship service for the congregation of Central-O-Lakes OPC in Bellaire, Michigan. A little over five years later Central-O-Lakes OPC would be recognized as a particular congregation by the Presbytery of Michigan and Ontario with Mr. Collison installed as the organizing pastor. Married for forty-six years to his beloved wife, Jan, and the father of five children, he would also serve as pastor of Grace OPC in Sheddon, Ontario, and as associate pastor of Covenant OPC in London, Ontario. Known for his love of the Lord and deep warmth for others in the church, Mr. Collison entered the church triumphant on March 12, 2017.
