December 24 Today in OPC History

On December 24, 1997, the Rev. Stephen L. Phillips, stated clerk of the Presbytery of New York and New England, wrote the General Assembly regarding the membership of the Presbytery of Connecticut and Southern New York which was being constituted on January 1, 1998 out of the PNYNE. The congregations were Westminster, Hamden, CT; Community, Newtown, CT; Franklin Square, Franklin Square, NY; Westchester, Mt. Vernon, NY: and Hope, Staten Island, NY. The ministers were James W. Campbell, William B. Kessler, Neil H. Williams, John W. Mallin, III, Daniel G. Osborne, Richard R. Gerber and William Shishko.
