August 12 Today in OPC History

On August 12, 2012, the congregation of Delta Oaks OPC celebrated the ownership of their new building in Pittsburg, California. In its twenty-three year history up to that point, the congregation had moved six different times before finding this building which was the right size for ministry and growth. In the dedication service for the building, Pastor Mike Dengerink preached on the topic of "God's Building." Pastor Dengerink exhorted the people to be committed to using the building to build God's kingdom. After the service, members and friends enjoyed a fellowship meal.
