On this date in 1992, the Committee on Home Missions and Church Extension had released its "Do You Know . . . ?" promotion of the OPC Home Missions Family. In introducing the church planters and regional home missionaries serving the church, the Committee shared these interesting facts. Did you know . ..

Tim and Linda Young, Allentown, Pennsylvania, "Did you know that Tim was raised in an apartment in a bar operated by his parents in the same town where he is now establishing an Orthodox Presbyterian Church?"

Jerry and Barbara Neumair, Grand Rapids, Michigan, "Did you know that after conversion through InterVarsity, Jerry became involved with an OP church because it was the first stop on a free church bus route offered by his college?"

Bill and Sessie Welzien, Key West, Florida, "Did you know Bill came to the Lord while living as a hippie and traveling to visit a guru in India?"

Tim and Janine Power, LaGrange, Georgia, "Did you know that Tim completed two cross-country bicycle trips totaling 4,500 miles?"

Mark and Peggy Sumpter, Wasilla, Alaska, "Did you know that Peggy led Mark to the Lord a year before their marriage?"

Chip and Connie Stonehouse, Regional Home Missionary for the Presbytery of Philadelphia, "Did you know Chip and Connie Stonehouse's romance began at the French Creek Bible Conference as Chip thought that Connie looked like Doris Day?"
