November 18 Today in OPC History

On November 18, 1995, the members of the Committee on Ecumenicity and Interchurch Relations meeting in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, were rejoicing at the surprise of visit member John Galbraith who was recovering from a heart attack. In other business, the Committee appointed Richard Barker, Donald Duff, Richard Gaffin, Jr. and Thomas Tyson as representatives to the annual meeting of the North American Council of Presbyterian and Reformed Churches that meeting that was to be hosted by the OPC later that month in Philadelphia. The Committee also announced that Pastor Bill Shishko of Franklin Square OPC in Franklin Square, New York, would serve as the speaker for the NAPARC banquet.
