September 22 Today in OPC History

On this date in 2004, the inaugural Intern Mentoring Conference was taking place at the OPC Administrative Offices in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Bill Shisko, pastor of the OPC of Franklin Square, New York, spoke to the participants on the topic, "What is the Call to the Ministry?" Ron Pearce, pastor of Church of the Covenant, Hackettstown, New Jersey, shared "A Pattern for an Organized Intern Program." For the final presentation, Craig Troxel, pastor of Calvary OPC, Glenside, Pennsylvania, lectured on "The Kingdom of God and the Church."
