2019

On June 24, 1938, Mr. Robert McCullough sent a letter to individuals living in and around Schenectady, New York, whom he thought might be interested in the establishment of a church where the living God would be worshiped in spirit and in truth. Thirteen men and women responded positively and three months later Calvary Presbyterian Church of Schenectady, New York was organized.

On November 4, 1938 the church was received by the Presbytery of New York and New England as a particular congregation in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. One week later, Mr. Raymond Meiners was ordained and installed as pastor of Calvary Church. Mr. Meiners would serve as pastor of Calvary Church for the next forty-two years until his retirement in December 1980.

Since 2001, the Rev. Thomas Trouwborst has served as the pastor of Calvary Church.
