Does the OPC have any statements on children's church?
The OPC has taken no position on children's church. Liberty is left up to the local session to determine what is most edifying to the congregation, in accordance with the Confession of Faith 1:6, "... there are some circumstances concerning the worship of God, and government of the church, common to human actions and societies, which are to be ordered by the light of nature, and Christian prudence, according to the general rules of the Word, which are always to be observed."
OPC minister Karl Hubenthal has written a thoughtful paper on Children and Worship. See also Richard Bacon's "Revealed to Babes: Children in the Worship of God (pdf file).
