Presbytery of the Southwest

2019

 

On the morning of June 5, 1992, the roll call for commissioners to the Fifty-Ninth General Assembly meeting at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, took place. Representing the Presbytery of the Southwest were ministers John R. Hunt, Jr. (Albuquerque, NM), Glenn D. Jerrell (Roswell, NM), Neil J. Lodge (Abilene, TX), Jack J. Peterson (San Antonio, TX) and Richard A. Shaw (Bartlesville, OK). Ruling Elder commissioners were David T. Brack (Amarillo, TX) and James W. Van Dam (Austin, TX).

The five ministers enrolled, plus Mr. Brack who would be ordained as a gospel minister in the OPC the next year, would serve a combined 216 years in OPC pastoral ministry.
