March 24 Today in OPC History

We would like to wish a happy 60th wedding anniversary to OPC missionaries Ralph and Joan English. They were married on this day in 1964 in Seoul, Korea, where the new Mrs. English taught at a Christian school. The congregation of Calvary Community Church, Harmony, New Jersey, surprised her parents, Pastor and Mrs. Lewis Grotenhuis, with a cash gift that enabled them to attend the wedding. Ralph and Joan would serve as OPC missionaries to Korea from 1969 to 1987, and then in Suriname from 1987 to 1996.
