April 11

East Orange, New Jersey

On April 11, 1943, a series of special evangelistic services at Covenant OPC in East Orange, New Jersey, started. The Rev. Edward Kellogg, pastor at Calvary OPC in Middletown, Pennsylvania, served as the main speaker for the week. Average attendance was sixty-five persons, about one-third were visitors from the East Orange Community. According to Covenant Church pastor Richard Gray, several persons professed faith in Christ as Savior. Mr. Gray also reported that the spiritual life of the entire church was deepened and strengthened.
